When a gunman opened fire inside a Newtown, Connecticut, elementary school Friday, he cut short 26 lives. Six women who worked at Sandy Hook Elementary were killed, in addition to 20 students — twelve girls and eight boys. It’s difficult to hold the tears back when watching the coaches and artists of The Voice pay tribute to the Connecticut shooting victims with Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
