Good Morning!
Looks like we’re going to have a great day!!! USAT is getting hit at $2.58 in the premarket and ZLCS at $2.80 – can you say SCORE!
I am going to start a model portfolio with about $5-10k with a goal of turning it into a daytraders account. With that in mind, notice the change to my watch list by price category. This will help differentiate my teaching and trading. Don’t always expect picks, it would be foolish of me just to fill the categories for the sake of filling them. If I don’t find something good with a perceived catalyst it’s better to wait.
$.25 – $1.00
CTIC jumped yesterday and it’s been on my watch list. They’re awaiting a ruling on and appeal during the first quarter of 2011. I think it’ll open bull today and if it presses $.40 it could bounce for another 10% or more.
LQMT needs a catalyst and it’s going to be in my account. Still waiting but its continued hold of $.50 as support is great. If and when Apple announces how they’ll used LQMT’s technology it’s going to skyrocket. Risk of alerting now is simply liquidity… I need to see volume increase cause that will suggest somebody knows something I don’t. That’s when I get in.
PLPE is holding this $.90 cent range well, I’d like $.80 for my entry. I made a quick $1k on it last time it ran so I’ll be watching for news to ride that momentum train again.
$1.00 – $3.00
FCSC is worth keeping on watch this morning. I added 10k yesterday at $1.08, sold 5k immediately at $1.05 when it didn’t continue and now hold 5k shares. It’s worth your time to watch because it just got upgraded to a buy with a $3 price target by Rodman & Renshaw. Between the ascending triangle break and that upgrade my guess is that it’s heading up.
SMCG looks interesting. India stocks have been rallying. Looks like a day 2 for this one coming up.
$3.00 – $5.00
GPL is a has a technical chart I like but I am not ready to enter yet. If silver continues to rise, so will Great Panther Silver who recently posted higher first-quarter silver production. Looks like it’s getting hit in the premarket this morning, so I’ll be interested to see if this $4.00 range is the turning point.
